Overview
In response to the devastating Punjab floods of 2025, The Dooa Foundation supported emergency relief and long-term rehabilitation efforts for vulnerable families affected by the crisis.
Through the Homes Restoration Initiative, displaced families were rehoused in durable prefabricated homes ranging from 500–1,000 sq. ft. Using advanced construction technology, each home was completed within 24 hours, providing families with safe, secure, and weather-resistant shelter during a critical time of recovery.
The wider humanitarian response also supported:
- Rescue operations across 86+ villages
- Medical and veterinary camps
- Food distribution and relief support
- Educational assistance for children
- Disease prevention and sanitation initiatives
The initiative reflects The Dooa Foundation’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian action that restores safety, dignity, and hope to communities affected by disaster.
