Case Study

Acton homeless Concern

The Acton Homeless Concern provides regular hot food, essential supplies, and community support and advise to vulnerable individuals experiencing food insecurity and homelessness.

With support from The Dooa Foundation, the initiative continues to serve hundreds of people with not only food, but also compassion, dignity, and human connection. Rooted in the Sikh principle of langar — the communal sharing of food without distinction — the initiative brings people together across all backgrounds and circumstances, reinforcing the importance of equality, service, and community care.
