The Dooa Foundation supports initiatives that create lasting social impact through education, skills development, and leadership opportunities for women and young girls from underserved rural communities.

A key initiative has focused on empowering underprivileged women through vocational training, digital literacy, English language development, teacher training, and holistic education programmes, helping them become financially independent and confident contributors within their communities.

An important part of this work has been the collaboration between the Helga Tod Foundation, Cambridge University, and the Akal Institutes, which introduced specialised teacher training programmes for rural women. Through internationally supported training in education, communication, planning, assessment, and classroom leadership, participants gained valuable qualifications and sustainable career pathways in teaching and community development.
